We’re delighted to have reached the landmark of one hundred TripAdvisor reviews. The positive feedback from guests is testament to the hard work of all of the communities that we are partnered with from the guides on hikes, to those who keep tracks open, clean, put out flowers, prepare bedding, and of course cook amazing food from the local gardens.
Less visible, but in many ways more important, is the good governance demonstrated by the tourism committee in each village, reporting back to the wider community on issues and finances, and their amazing organisational skills to ensure they are ready to welcome guests on each trek. And, behind all this the support of the elders, who help to keep us all on track.
Guest reviews and feedback also help us to focus on what makes our treks special, for example giving the ladies confidence in their cooking skills and the style of food they prepare, and encourage a thoughtfulness about what tourism is and what it can be and do in Fiji.
We’re looking forward to the next hundred TripAdvisor reviews!
